TOKYO MANGA BASE SHOGAKUKAN MANGA ART COLLECTION at GINZA ATRIUM, GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS
Taking inspiration from GINZA ATRIUM’s art and cultural setting, the event presents a curated selection of manga art products showcasing original manga illustrations and full-color artwork.
The lineup includes fine art reproductions of original manga artwork from titles such as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and BANANA FISH, as well as Metal Canvas Art, which uses a proprietary technique to create distinctive textures and dimensionality. These fine art reproductions and Metal Canvas Art have previously been available exclusively on a made-to-order basis through Shogakukan’s official e-commerce site, LIFETUNES MALL.
The event features more than 100 manga art products for a limited time, including T-shirts, acrylic blocks, and many other items featuring artwork from popular Shogakukan manga titles.
One of the highlights of the event is a fine art reproduction of the special illustration “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End × Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring,” created in conjunction with the Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Masterpieces of the 17th Century Exhibition at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka. The reproduction is specially displayed at the event and available for made-to-order purchase.
As a new initiative, selected products on display at the event are also available simultaneously through the TOKYO MANGA BASE international online store. The service is currently available in 10 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
For the first time, fine art reproductions of original manga artwork are available to international customers through TOKYO MANGA BASE from September 20 through October 19, 2026. People around the world can also discover selected products featured at the Ginza event through the TOKYO MANGA BASE international online store.
