The latest New Frontiers Series set to air first quarter 2027 on Bloomberg Television: Planet TV Studios proudly serves as the exclusive sponsor of the New Frontiers series.
BOCA RATON, FL, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Planet TV Studios Announces Firefly AB to Be Featured in New Frontiers in Fire Safety.
Stockholm-based fire-safety technology company selected for a 10-minute lead segment exploring industrial fire prevention, rapid suppression and the next generation of fire prediction.
Planet TV Studios announced that Firefly AB, a Swedish industrial fire-prevention and protection company, has signed to participate in an upcoming edition of the New Frontiers series focused on fire safety. Firefly is planned as a 10-minute lead segment, with production moving into the script-profile, treatment and shot-list phase before filming is scheduled.
Firefly develops industrial fire-prevention and protection systems designed to identify and stop ignition sources before they develop into larger fires or dust explosions. The company traces its roots to Sweden in 1969 and delivered its first commercial spark-detection system in 1973. Today, Firefly provides customized systems to process industries around the world and is represented through direct sales and distributors in more than 90 countries.
The New Frontiers segment is expected to examine how industrial fire protection is changing as detection, control and suppression systems become faster, more precise and increasingly predictive. Firefly AB’s technology portfolio includes spark and hot-particle detection, rapid water-mist suppression for critical machinery and high-risk areas, and newer prediction solutions designed to identify developing risks before they become ignition sources, fires or explosions.
A major focus of the planned story will be the relationship between safety and production continuity. In high-throughput industries, even a contained fire can create costly downtime, equipment damage and supply-chain disruption. Firefly AB’s stated mission is to protect people and assets while helping customers remain in production.
Firefly has continued to expand its technology portfolio in 2026. The company introduced Firefly Prediction solutions and launched its Automated Water Cannon, designed to automatically locate a fire, aim water cannons and suppress the incident in larger areas that can be difficult to cover with conventional systems.
Firefly has also continued building its North American presence while maintaining operations and subsidiaries in Europe and the United States.
“We are excited to be part of this project and are looking forward to working with you and the team.”
– Anders Bergström, CEO, Firefly AB, Anders.Bergstrom@firefly.se
The Firefly story is well suited to the New Frontiers format because it combines a long industrial history with highly visual technology and a clear real-world safety mission. The production team will work with Firefly to identify the strongest on-camera demonstrations, customer environments and operational examples for the segment.

Firefly CEO Anders Bergström has been with the company since 1990 and became CEO in 2024 after serving in technical, sales and leadership roles. That long operating perspective is expected to help frame both the company’s evolution and the broader changes taking place in industrial fire safety.
The Firefly segment will now move through editorial development, including a client-reviewed script profile, draft treatment, proposed interviews and shot planning. A filming date and broadcast window will be announced after the production materials are approved.
